About Koffie
Our mission is simple: to create a welcoming space where great coffee, homemade food and genuine hospitality bring people together.
Inspired by European café culture, we're proud to be part of the Niton community—supporting local people, celebrating good food and creating a place where everyone feels welcome.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before your visit to Koffie. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, just get in touch or pop in and ask.
Why is it called Koffie?
Koffie is the Dutch word for coffee. We chose the name because it reflects our love of European café culture—places where people take time to slow down, enjoy great coffee, good food and even better company.
That's exactly the atmosphere we've created here in Niton.
Do you serve locally roasted coffee?
Yes! We proudly serve artisan coffee from Island Roasted, an independent Isle of Wight coffee roastery. Their expertly roasted beans produce a smooth, rich coffee that we're proud to serve every day, whether you prefer an espresso, flat white, cappuccino or an iced coffee.
What food do you serve at Koffie?
Our menu includes freshly prepared breakfasts, light lunches, homemade quiches, toasties, sandwiches, salads, soups (seasonal), cakes, scones and sweet treats. We also have a range of speciality coffees, teas and refreshing cold drinks, with new seasonal specials appearing throughout the year.
Where is Koffie located?
You'll find us in the heart of Niton at:
Koffie
Commerce House
High Street
Niton
Isle of Wight
PO38 2AT
We're an ideal stop whether you're exploring the south of the Island, out walking, cycling or simply looking for somewhere relaxing to enjoy great coffee and homemade food.
What are your opening hours?
We're open throughout the week:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Sunday: 9:30am – 1:30pm
Opening hours may occasionally vary on public holidays or for special events, so it's always worth checking our Facebook page before travelling.
Can I work from Koffie or meet friends there?
Absolutely. Koffie was created to be a welcoming space for everyone. Whether you're catching up with friends, meeting colleagues, enjoying a quiet coffee with a book or working remotely for a few hours, you'll find free Wi-Fi, plug-in points, comfortable seating and, of course, plenty of great coffee.
Is Koffie dog friendly?
Well-behaved dogs are always welcome, so feel free to bring your four-legged friend along while you enjoy a coffee or lunch. We love meeting our canine visitors just as much as their owners!
